Makeup Revolution Duo Brow Pencil Review

Absolutely brow obsessed. I can be fake tan free, false lash-less with bigger bags than Ikea, but I have to have on an eyebrow or two. I’ve been trying out the Makeup Revolution duo brow pencil, here is my review.

To be quite honest though, the amount of posts I’ve done about eyebrow products and hacks, I’m running out of things to say about just how rancid my own furry face caterpillars can be.

Alas, I am again on the hunt for that one product that is life changing and purse friendly, because you know I love some budget goodness in my life.

Step top old fav Makeup Revolution who are always on fire with their products! I snapped up their “duo brow definer” for just £2.50 – the angled tip is comparable to Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer (haven’t tried it), and the Benefit Goof Proof pencil (review linked below).

You can see here it has an angled tip, this is designed to give you hair like strokes, which you can build up as lightly or as heavily as you like. As always here is a absolutely hunbelievable before and after pic of my brows.

I know, didn’t need an ounce of makeup on them to start with!

Well, top marks to this product! I loved the pigmentation, and the neat spooly on the end (always handy!). The texture was waxy and soft, not too hard or draggy which is never a good thing. The product wore really well all day, it was easy to apply, easy to fix up any mess and was easily buildable. I went for a more heavier brow that day, though I still think you can see the hair like strokes from the product. I’d like to work on my technique for my brows because I know they’re not perfect, this product certainly made getting a good look really easy! I’d definitely repurchase it – £2.50 for better than Benefit sign me up! x

      1. It was my go-to brow product for a while!! But it does dry out quickly 😦 I also really like the Benefit Ka-Brow, which is also a pomade. I haven’t tried the Makeup Revolution Duo Brow Pencil, but I am currently using the IT Cosmetics Brow Power pencil, which is pretty similar. I believe I got it in a Boxycharm! Do you use a brow gel overtop?? I’ve been looking for a good gel

      2. I haven’t fell in love with any pomades yet but I’ve seen that Primark Makeup is really good right now so I must try! The best brow gel I’ve found which I’m using now is by Benefit, the 24 Hour Brow Setter. I think it can be bought alone, it’s brilliant! X x
