So, I’ve covered in a previous post why I’m making the switch to a non toxic or less toxic tan, you can see for yourself here why that’s a good idea. Or maybe you’re just looking for a cruelty free and vegan option to get your glow on. If that’s the case, you’ve come to the right place, I’m all about the honest reviews, so here goes.

So this tan makes a few bold claims – “Rapid Tinted Self Tan Mousse is a fast acting tan that develops over 1-3 hours and lasts 4-7 days. This rapid tanning mousse also offers choose-your-shade technology that gives you a light sunkissed glow by showering after 1 hour, a medium golden bronze tan by showering after 2 hours or a lusciously dark tan by showering after 3 or more hours. This organic self tanner is suitable for use on the face and body.”
Sounds like my kind of tan, but at nearly £25, I want to get what I’m told I’m getting, so did I? This tan smells delicious, and dries quickly, here’s a pic of my hand an hour after application so you can see the rapid development. How much do you love the one month regrowth on my nails?

Looking good here, no Ross or Mr Krank kind of orange mahogany finish. The more I look at this picture though, the more I’m like ‘ew, fingers, wow tendons, vom veins!!”.
As for the completed look, here’s the before and after, this is following sleeping with it on and washing it off the next day, OOO yeah them titties *squints in magnifying glass*, whatevs – proud member of itty bitty titty committee.

From snow to glow, thats the kind of look I need in my life. So, we’ve got 10/10 for healthiness, 10/10 for smell, 10/10 for drying speed, 5/10 for price and 10/10 for colour. The tipping points though are longevity of wear *ahem* and how much do I need to exfoliate to get the raggedy ass flakes off when it fades.
As it goes, this does fade so nicely, it is even and not flaky at all. False tan fans will know all about that snaky flake we suffer, you won’t get that here. But, it does not last at all, by day 3 it had completely faded right off my skin, and I was so sad especially because of the price, the fact it’s organic and is a lovely colour, it’s such a shame.
As for the brand, I am absolutely not deterred from trying another one of their tans at all, tans often give me a migraine or can make me have a restless nights sleep, but this didn’t. I’d love it and buy over and over if it lasted just a little bit longer, because aside from that I couldn’t fault it really.
